ONE-TO-ONE COACHING
Twelve weeks of steady company, while you find your footing.
Weekly online sessions for people rebuilding after loss — with the time, attention, and patience the work actually needs.
WHAT IT IS
A container that doesn't push you.
This is my main offering — twelve weeks of weekly, ninety-minute sessions, online. It's designed for people who want consistent, focused support while they work through a loss. Long enough to actually go somewhere. Short enough not to feel like a life sentence.
It isn't therapy and it isn't a self-help programme. It's coaching shaped specifically for grief — slow, attentive, honest, and built around the fact that you're not a problem to be solved.
Space for a beautiful quote

But you want....
You're not looking to be fixed. You're looking for something quieter — and harder to name. Most of the work I do starts here, with people sketching out what they actually want underneath all the things they've been told they should.
To stop pretending you're "doing fine" when you're not — and to have at least one space in your week where you don't have to perform okay-ness.
To grieve in a way that doesn't ask you to forget. A relationship with the person you lost that keeps evolving, rather than getting tidied away.
To feel like yourself again — not the person you were before, exactly, but someone you recognise. Someone you can build a life with.
To be met by someone who's done this work themselves. No clinical distance, no fix-it energy, no rush. Just steady, honest company.
WHAT YOU GET
More about the work.
Weekly ninety-minute sessions
Twelve sessions over twelve weeks, online by Zoom. Long enough to settle into the conversation, short enough not to be exhausting.
Unlimited between-session messaging
For the hard Tuesdays. Send a voice note, a paragraph, a one-line text. I'll respond — usually within twenty-four hours.
Personal session notes
After each session, I send a short note — what I heard, what I'm holding for you to come back to. Not homework. A record.
A welcome care package
Sent in week one: a small posted package with a candle, a notebook, and a letter. Something to mark the beginning of the work.
THE PROCESS
How it works.
STEP ONE
A free thirty-minute call
We talk. No agenda. You tell me what's going on; I tell you whether I'm the right person to help with it. If yes, we book in. If not, I'll point you somewhere better.
STEP TWO
The first session
We map the terrain. Who you lost. What's surfaced since. What you want this work to make room for. No pressure to be tidy about any of it.
STEP THREE
The work itself
Eleven more weekly sessions. Slow, steady, attentive. Messaging in between. Notes from me. A check-in at the halfway point and a clear close at the end.
Sounds good? Book your call.
FREQUENTLY ASKED
FAQ
No. I'm a trained Grief Recovery Specialist and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, not a therapist. Coaching is forward-focused work, designed to help you find your footing and rebuild. If you need clinical mental-health support, I'll always say so on our call and help you find someone good.
There's no rule. Some clients come three months in; some come three years in, when the loud part fades and they realise the work isn't done. Both are valid times to start.
Most people do, at first. It's the right room for it. There's no version of this work where you're expected to hold it together for me.
Yes — with at least twenty-four hours' notice we'll reschedule. Grief makes life unpredictable; I build flexibility into the container.
Book the free call anyway. If now isn't the right time, I'll be honest about it. The call itself often clarifies things — people leave knowing what they actually need next, whether or not that's me.
Standard one-to-one work is online. I run small in-person retreats twice a year from the studio in the Cotswolds — sign up for letters if you'd like the dates when they're announced.

FROM CLIENTS
What clients say afterwards.
She made room.
I'd been to two therapists who wanted to fix me. Maggie didn't. She just made room for what was actually happening. Six months in, I'm not the same person — and that's the point.
Helen, lost her husband
Steady ground.
What I needed wasn't strategy. It was steady ground. Maggie was that. The work was quiet and slow and exactly right.
James, lost his mother
Permission to grieve.
Everyone in my life had moved on three months in. Maggie was the first person who said: it's been three months. Of course you're not okay. That alone changed things.
Priya, lost her best friend
She gets it
She's been through it. You can tell. There's no performance in her — just someone who's done the work and knows what it asks of you.
Daniel, lost his sister

WHO THIS IS FOR
Is this you?
You've lost someone significant — recently, or some time ago — and the loss is still shaping how you live.
The world has moved on while you're still finding the edges of it. You're functioning, but underneath, something isn't.
You don't want a clinical setting. You want someone steady, honest, and unhurried — who knows the terrain.
You're ready to do real work — but at a pace that doesn't ask you to bypass what happened
